There is a path here - with steps - that isn't marked (other than to say "no cycles"). If it is a public footpath (?) it should be marked.

This is a wide path that is safe for cyclists to use alongside other people - it should be a bridleway not just a footpath

This is a marked cycle route, between Maidstone Town Centre and Shepway - there should be cycle route signs here at this turning to avoid confusion

A dropped kerb here would make it easier for wheelchair users and cyclists

The signs marking the designated cycle route are missing

North Pole Road should be pedestrianised in line with SWM1 proposals made in the Maidstone transport report.

There are no pedestrian or cycling lights at these traffic lights, making this busy traffic junction, at the corner of Maidstone's main park, dangerous, especially for children trying to cycle to/from school.

The walking and cycle route narrows towards Bridgeside Mews and is overgrown and poorly maintained. There is plenty of room to widen the path to make room for all users. The route would also benefit substantially from improved lighting. ... [more]

NCN17 is a main cycle route in/out of the town centre. Current roundabout design prioritises motor traffic movement. Alternative design from Sustrans already existsin the Maidstone Cycling Strategy, time to build it.

There needs to be a safer cycle crossing from W to E across this junction. The current cycle paths are not safe

The cycle paths around this junction need a total re-think. Not fit for purpose

No pavement or cycleway for commuters to access Paddock Wood station or for students to get to school by bike or on foot.

What Maidstone needs is a safe circular cycle gyratory here in the centre of town that so many of the other existing routes.

Children could cycle to school from EP to PW if there was a safe cycle way

Narrow pavements, wide roads. Redress the balance to aid distancing.

Shared foot/cycletrack on east side of A249 is barely fit for purpose without need for distancing, Take a carriageway lane and repurpose. This is the proposed route for onger term Mote Park to town centre active travel proposals.
